CIR-CE - Cooperation in Innovation and Research with Central and Eastern Europe

CIR-CE promotes cooperations between innovative Austrian companies and innovative companies from Central- and Eastern Europe. The programmes objectives are:

• the implementation of transnational networks - organised by intermediary organisations (Compentence Centres, Technology centres, clusters) and
• encouraging transnational projects covering R&D, technology transfer, benchmarking, quality assurance etc.

Public funding is between 45% and 75%, project duration ranging from 1,5 up to 3 years.

Possible applicants:

• Intermediary Organisations:
• Clusters
• Competence Centres
• Cooperative research institutes
• Research institutes acting as intermediary organisations (focus on technology- and knowledge transfer)
• Network of companies with network-coordinator

Second call for proposals
Start: December 6th, 2006
Deadline: April 24th, 2007
The budget for this call will be approximately 3,5 million Euro.
