Application terms for an Erasmus-Scholarship:

• Target Group: Students from Universities in Eastern Austria

• Duration of Internship 3-12 Months

• Internships inside the EU and the EWR or in associated states

• Internships at Austrian Foreign Offices or EU forwarded projects can’t be supported

• Study related activities

• Applications at the latest 1 month before starting the internship or language course

• Self organised company internships or such with help from DANUBE, IAESTE, etc.

Application

Placing criterias for an Erasmus (Internship) Scholarship:

• Academic recognition (university students)

• Reference to the chosen study

• Quality of Internship (working-plan)

• Country of intention and duration of internship, foreign language acquirement

• Salary within the company

The nomination is given by DANUBE in accordance with the university.

The policy of competition is applied.

Application for an Erasmus (Internship) Scholarship:

In case of an existing Internship place in another EU or EWR country or for example in an associated state please read the application terms carefully and fill in the following forms:

• Application Form

• Confirmation of Company

• Insurance statement (Cheap Insurance possibilities: IPS Lippmann )

• Confirmation of University/Colleges

• Questionnaires concerning intercultural preparation

• CV, Letter of motivation

• Working-plan

Please send all documents as an attachment to In addition please send the 4 original documents signed per mail to DANUBE.

Applications for a Scholarship can be sent in anytime (there are no deadlines) but make sure to apply at the latest 1 month in advance before starting your internship or language course.

Get support in looking for an Internship place from DANUBE:

• CV in German or English respectively in the language of the intended country

• Letter of motivation: in German or English respectively in the language of the intended country
